Prior to co-founding SootLess, Dinesh held a leadership position at Terra-Gen Power where he was part of the team that built the largest wind project in North America and was leading the development of large-scale advanced grid storage projects, hybrid solar-storage projects, and grid transmission projects.

Dinesh holds a B.E. from University of Madras, India; an M.S. from Arizona State University, Tempe, USA; an M.B.A from SC Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University, Ithaca, USA; and an M.B.A from Smith School of Business, Queen's University, Kingston, Canada.

His professional life in the energy sector began in the late '90s and spans various specialities - power system modelling and simulation; advanced real-time grid monitoring tools; design of nodal electric energy markets; oversight of real-time engineering support for grid operations; energy regulatory policies; development of grid transmission system; and development of independent power projects for renewable energy and advanced grid storage technologies.

Chitra has helped several leading Fortune 500 companies embrace advanced cloud computing technologies. She has led the deployment of cloud computing platforms for companies in varied sectors - Pharmaceutical, Insurance, Automobile, Aviation, Telecom, to state a few - and now, brings her expertise to the renewable energy sector. Chitra has been instrumental in developing SootLess' advanced IoT enabled monitoring and diagnostic tool.

Chitra holds a B.Tech. in Information Technology from University of Madras, India; an M.S. in Computer Science from Ohio University, USA; and is a recipient of numerous professional awards and accolades. Chitra started her career in the early 2000s and has focussed on development and deployment of cloud computing technologies and has managed global teams.
